Studio 3 - Polylight Remix

When Chris, aka Toolbox, hit us all with his incredible release on 29th July of 2023, called "All In", I listened through it a couple of times and found particular interest in a couple of songs. Apart from creative bangers like Dancing Silhouettes and Allegro, I was held captive by the seemingly simple and straight forward bass line of Studio 3, which proved to be a solid foundation for a heavier version of the same song that formed inside my mind. I wanted to create a metal remix, and even though there's potential for it to be heavier, I am proud of what it has become.

As with all my releases, a Polylight remix means a more uncommon approach to what is overall known to be a remix. I have focused less on having a driving kick or beat that makes it easy to integrate into DJ sets, and invested way more attention into the creative art of reinterpreting the core structure of a song and making my own out of it - like a particularly wild classical variation of a theme represented by the original.
